Pediatrics

Our 13 bed pediatric unit provides family-friendly care for children requiring hospitalization.  We serve children from birth to 18 years of age from throughout Northern New Mexico.  Our physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and support staff offer young patients and their families integrated medical care close to home.  In most cases, parents can spend the night alongside their child or in a nearby parent room.

A new 24-hour monitoring system allows both bedside and nursing station monitoring of our patients, and all our pediatric nurses are RNs and have either pediatric-advanced-life-support (PALS) or emergency-nurse-provider-course (ENPC) certification.
