Samuel Chun, MD

Samuel Chun, MD, is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He received his hand surgery fellowship from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 1992, and his orthopaedic surgery residency and medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. In addition to being the only fellowship trained orthopaedic hand surgeon in northern New Mexico, he has special training and interest in helping patients with chronic pain due to nerve compressions of upper and lower extremities. Dr. Chun is an active consultant for Indian Health Services, and is a member of Health Volunteer Overseas and Wilderness Medical Society.
