Philip Shields MD

Dr. Shields specializes in neurosurgery. Dr. Shields earned a Bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University and completed his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He participated in General Surgery training and completed his residency in Neurosurgery at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Shields completed a fellowship in Skull Base and Microvascular Neurosurgery from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
